RFS: 'Serious about India'
On the occasion of the RFS StayConnected Days in New Delhi (Nov. 30) and in Mumbai (Dec. 3), Kuldeep Tikoo, Managing Director of Radio Frequency Systems (RFS) India, introduced RFS' strategy for India in 2010 and confirmed the global wireless and broadcast infrastructure specialist's commitment to the Indian market.
The goal of the RFS StayConnected Days global roadshow program is to deliver dedicated and customized information to RFS' wide array of business partners worldwide. These events are the opportunity for RFS and its customers to gather in a personal setting to discuss client-specific wireless infrastructure site engineering challenges. To date, successful RFS' roadshows have been held in Thailand, Brazil, China, France and South Africa. After India, the United Arabic Emirates will join the list by year's end.
"Our worldwide roadshow program has quickly gained momentum and we are continuously impressed by the clients' positive response, in particular today in India," declared Eric Mariette, RFS' Vice-President for Global Marketing and Strategy, present for the event in New Delhi.
"The numerous, leading OEMs and operators in attendance at the RFS StayConnected Days in India, plus the involvement of RFS' experts from each of our global Product Lines, clearly demonstrates that RFS is taking the Indian market very seriously," added Kuldeep Tikoo, Managing Director of RFS India.
Participating in the RFS StayConnected Days were managers in charge of the strategic decisions that will allow their companies, or their clients' companies, to succeed in the wireless technology migration challenge facing India. In just one day and in one convenient location, they had the opportunity to access dedicated information and demos from RFS' experts, and to stay up-to-date with the latest innovations in wireless communications, in particular in the field of Radio Frequency (RF) equipment and solutions for cost-efficient outdoor and indoor wireless coverage.
According to Tikoo, the Indian market is unique, as it compels RFS to provide local clients with large volumes of the best quality products at the suitable market price. "Our production facility in Kolkata, and our logistics centers strategically located in all four geographical regions of India, allow RFS to quickly and efficiently handle all countrywide logistical requirements", he said. "For these reasons, RFS is ideally-positioned to score a significant growth on the Indian wireless infrastructure market in 2010."
The RFS StayConnected Days are helping Indian telecom operators and equipment vendors better tackle the forthcoming challenges of 3G network deployments, network migrations, network expansions, data traffic explosion and network capacity increase in one of the world's fastest growing telecommunications markets.
